Description
A steering stabilizer is basically a shock absorber for your steering system. It allows unrestricted gradual movement, but resists sudden shock. Stabilizers also combat other forces that induce tire shimmy, such as larger / heavier tires and wheels, and slack in your suspension and steering systems that occurs from normal wear. Some vehicles are factory equipped with a stabilizer, but like most stock shocks, they are barely adequate. Look for leakage where the shaft meets the cylinder body. High-Clearance Dual In-line Kit The ultimate in steering dampening. Includes two stabilizer cylinders and hardware to relocate the cylinders in-line and on the top side of the steering linkage, providing improved protection from rocks and other hazards. Factory replacement cylinders, single kits and dual kits are offered. Boots for stabilizers are not included.
